Power Factor Monitoring Relay G2CM400V10AL20 – Cos-φ Monitoring for 1- and 3-Phase Applications
The G2CM400V10AL20 from TELE is a multifunctional power factor monitoring relay from the GAMMA series for monitoring the cos-φ value in single- and three-phase networks. The device reliably detects underload conditions, no-load operation, dry running, and disconnected loads, thereby protecting machines, pumps, fans, and conveyor systems from damage and unnecessary failures.
Monitoring is carried out by measuring the power factor (Cos φ) at voltages from 40 to 415V AC and currents from 0.5 to 10A. Thanks to six integrated monitoring functions, the relay can be flexibly adapted to various applications. Additionally, a switchable fault memory function (latch) is available.
Separate setting options for start-up override, response delay, and release delay enable precise adaptation to the behavior of the monitored system. The device is also suitable for operation with frequency inverters with frequencies from 10 to 100 Hz.
Two potential-free changeover contacts are available for signaling. The compact design, with a width of only 22.5 mm, allows for space-saving mounting on DIN rails in the control cabinet.
