Active Power Monitoring Relay G2BM400V12AFL10 – Load Monitoring with Fault Latch for Hoisting and Conveying Systems
The G2BM400V12AFL10 from TELE is a powerful active power monitoring relay from the GAMMA series for monitoring electrical loads in 1- and 3-phase networks. By precisely detecting active power, the device reliably identifies overload, underload, and disconnected consumers, making it particularly suitable for hoists, conveying systems, pumps, and industrial drives.
The integrated fault latch function ensures that detected faults remain stored until a deliberate reset occurs. This means faults are clearly recognized and can be reliably analyzed even after brief disturbances. Additionally, the relay detects disconnected consumers and supports applications with frequency converters from 10 to 100 Hz.
Four selectable power ranges from 0.5 to 4 kW, as well as an adjustable threshold, allow for flexible adaptation to different systems. Startup bridging and trip delay can be set separately to prevent false trips when motors start up.
The relay features a potential-free changeover contact with a switching current of up to 5 A, LED indicators for supply, output, and fault conditions, and a compact design with a width of only 22.5 mm for DIN rail mounting.
